The Beginner's Guide to Cast Iron Cookware
Share
We understand that cast iron occasionally has a negative reputation due to its complexity. Everyone has a different "right way" to maintain their cookware, which might be intimidating to a beginner. However, we think there are numerous methods to make cast iron work for you. If you follow some of our greatest tips, you'll quickly become an expert cast-iron cook.

Seasoning
We provide seasoned and ready-to-use cookware. In our foundry, we coat the cookware with a layer of soy-based vegetable oil and bake it at a high temperature. The days of seasoning your brand-new cast-iron cookware at home are long gone. Yes, put your skillet on the stove, add some oil, and begin cooking after giving it a quick wash. Actually, just using your skillet is one of the finest methods to take care of it. To add even more naturally nonstick seasoning to your pan, fry bacon, sear a steak, or roast your favorite vegetables.

Cleaning and Maintenance
After cooking, let your cookware cool down before giving it a handwash with a scrub brush and warm water. Although it's completely optional, using a small amount of mild dish soap is OK. For the occasional stubborn residue, simmer water for 3-5 minutes, and once the pan has cooled down, use a pan scraper to remove any food that is stuck on the pan. After cleaning, dry your cookware and lightly coat it with oil.
